Oldway Mansion – open to the public and with free entry, Oldway Mansion is not only a spectacular building in itself but also has wonderful gardens. It was originally built by the founder of the Singer sewing machine company, Isaac Merritt Singer and later developed by his son, Paris. There is also a sewing machine museum in the foyer of Oldway Mansion.
Occombe Farm - organic, working farm on the edge of Paignton. Includes farm shop, cafe and nature trail. Free entry.
Dartmouth Stream Railway & River Boat Co. - Run steam trains on stunning route between Paignton and Kingswear.
Kirkham House - mediaevil stone building.
Paignton Pleasure Cruises - Torquay and Brixham ferry plus evening cruises and fishing trips.
Paignton Pier - Located at the centre of Paignton beach, offering amusements and children's rides.
Paignton Zoo - three thousand animals spread over an 80 acre site. A great day out.
Pirate Golf - 18 hole crazy golf course with a pirate theme.
Seashore Centre - Run by Torbay's environmental charity, the Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust, the Seashore Centre raises awareness about the marine diversity of the English Riviera shores along with a focus on Torbay's geological importance.
