To this day Brixham is an important fishing port with a rich maritime history. Located at the southern most tip of Torbay is Berry Head, which is not only a national nature reserve but also home to two Napoleonic forts. The heart of Brixham, however, lies in and around the harbour, where you will find a multitude of shops, restaurants and even a full size replica of the Golden Hind.
